it might not be the best but it took second in "Traditional Dark Bocks" in 1996's Dixie cup.
Also there is some poor note taking on my part on substitutions. I make no promises. German Medium Crystal swapped for the Belgian Munich. British crystal 50degree swapped for the caramunich. Cascade hops swapped for the German Brewers Gold.
When free as beer is the goal use what you have.

Use Wyeast 2206 at room tempature overnight then chill to 50 degrees.
1 week in pirmary at 50 degrees
keep is secondary while lowering temp -5 degrees a day untli 32-35 degrees is reached.
Original Gravity should be close to 1.064
Final Gravity should be close to 1.016
